Our Lady’s Society has six new definitive members! On Friday, November 16, Fr. Zachary of the Mother of God received the promises of Greg and Michele Cromer, Michael and Maureen Murray, Tina Jinkens, and Nancy Krische. Mass was celebrated by Fr. Zachary of the Mother of God at the St. Lawrence Catholic Campus Center on the campus of the Unversity of Kansas with Msgr. Vince Krische concelebrating. After the promises, Daniel, Xavier, and Mariclare Murray (children of Michael and Maureen) sang the Magnificat while Claire Cromer (daughter of Greg and Michele) presented flowers to Our Lady.
The six members have been growing in their relationship with the Trinity and Our Lady in their personal prayer, community prayer and building community through weekly spiritual exercises. After a period of four years, and a series of one year commitments, they have discerned the Lord calling them to a deeper relationship with the Church. Their public witness and commitment offers hope to the world as they serve to sanctify the temporal order and live their daily duties in the holiness to which God has called them.
