The Church received four new candidates for the sacred priesthood on Monday, November 12, 2012. Br. Al Abainza, Br. Tristan Abbott, Br. Patrick Prajzner and Br. Michael Slovak were officially received through the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity. They join three other SOLT brothers who were received as candidates at an earlier date.
On Sunday, November 11th, two SOLT brothers, Br. Jeremy Davis and Br. Peter Shaffo were received into the Ministry of Lector at Most Holy Redeemer Church in Detroit, Michigan. During the same Eucharistic Liturgy, Br. Tristan Abbott, Br. Beau Schweitzer and Br. Michael Slovak were received into the Ministry of Acolyte. Each of these ceremonies reflect the continued discernment and further response of these men to the Lord's call toward Sacred Priesthood. Please continue to pray for their formation and growth in holiness.
