This novena consists of litanies of praise to the Holy Spirit, based on the encyclical Dominum et Vivificantem (On the Holy Spirit in the Life of the Church and the World) by Blessed Pope John Paul II. It begins each year nine days before the moveable feast of Pentecost. This year we will be praying it May 18-26.
Let us pray for a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the whole Church and all mankind.
