Special Founders’ Novena for SOLT Mass Association July 16-24

It is with great joy that the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) announces a special “Founders’ Novena” for the SOLT Mass Association.

The Founders’ Novena of Masses will be offered by Father James H. Flanagan and Father John McHugh for nine days beginning on July 16, the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel.

This Feast Day is the 55thanniversary of the founding of the Society of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity (SOLT) in the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1958.

In God’s providence, Father Flanagan was directed from the Archdiocese of Boston (where he had served as a diocesan priest for five years)to begin SOLT in Sangre de CristoMountains in New Mexico where Father John McHugh had already been serving as a priest of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe for six years.

This year, on the feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, six SOLT brothers will be ordained to the transitional diaconate in Corpus Christi, Texas, the current headquarters of the SOLT international community.

The SOLT Mass Association will be formally based at the SOLT chapel of Our Lady of Corpus Christi, where every Friday's Mass intention at the noon Mass will be for these members.
